Join us as a Cleaner at our Residential Aged Care Home in Templestowe and help our teams deliver even greater outcomes.

About the opportunity:

You will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facility, ensuring the well-being and comfort of elderly residents.

• General responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Ensure the Aged Care home is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and infection control guidelines.

What you’ll bring:
 

• You’re reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community.
• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
• Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents.
• Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential).

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• NDIS Workers Screening Check or proof of application
