This is a role that focuses on developing in-person relationships. You’ll work with district and school leadership to support them with transforming instruction in every classroom. You are able to navigate complex discussions, form strong relationships with a diverse set of people, and be incredibly organized and detail oriented.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Account Executive focused on Southern California and the West, you'll play a critical role in expanding our impact across the state by building strong partnerships with district and school leaders. You’ll drive new business, nurture lasting relationships, and represent Goalbook at key education events across the region. If you thrive on meaningful conversations, love solving complex challenges, and want to see your work make a real difference in classrooms—this role is for you.

Drive New Sales & Strategic Growth

- Lead prospects through each stage of our consultative sales process with clarity and purpose, aligning our evidence based work with the priorities within their school district community.

- Use a structured sales methodology to qualify opportunities and tailor solutions that meet real educator needs within instructional practices.

- Engage in conferences and regional events to build new relationships, elevate brand presence, and generate business momentum.

 Build & Maintain a Healthy Pipeline

- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.

- Stay laser-focused on high-priority district segments, tracking engagement and opportunity coverage across your territory.

- Keep Salesforce up to date with accurate notes and forecasts to support strategy and team alignment.

Collaborate Across Teams to Deliver Impact

- Partner with our Customer Success and Renewals teams to ensure a smooth transition from new sale to long-term impact.

- Align with internal stakeholders to identify upsell opportunities and ensure customer retention.

- Focus on growing Goalbook’s reach and results across Northeast.

- Travel is estimated at 30%.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of previous experience in sales, SaaS sales or SaaS Services, with a proven track record of exceptional sales performance exceeding set quotas.

- Strong connection and passion for education

- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and persuasion skills

- Entrepreneurial spirit

- A valid driver's license
