What You'll Do
Lead and Develop People
- Foster an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Coach, mentor, and support nursing leaders and frontline caregivers.
- Set clear expectations while helping team members succeed and grow.
- Recruit, retain, and develop talented nursing professionals.
- Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and excellence.
Ensure Outstanding Resident Care
- Oversee nursing services to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation, social services, activities, dietary, pharmacy, physicians, and other disciplines to meet resident needs.
- Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and maintained to support positive resident outcomes.
- Partner with physicians and clinical teams to continuously improve quality and service.
Support Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and organizational policies.
- Maintain appropriate staffing and clinical competencies.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote best practices.
- Champion resident and employee safety programs.
- Coordinate care across the continuum to support seamless resident experiences.

Qualifications
Required
- Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of two years of Senior Living or Long-Term Care experience
- Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience
- CPR/BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Progressive nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living settings
