Our client, an established machining systems manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead its technology strategy and daily IT operations. The position will oversee infrastructure, business systems, cybersecurity, and manufacturing technology supporting reliable plant and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with operational and business priorities.
- Oversee infrastructure, networks, cloud services, applications, help desk, and data security.
- Lead ERP optimization and integration across manufacturing, finance, inventory, and supply chain.
- Strengthen cybersecurity controls, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans.
- Support secure connectivity between enterprise systems and plant-floor technologies.
- Manage technology vendors, licensing, contracts, budgets, and service performance.
- Establish IT policies, governance standards, documentation, and performance measures.
- Build and develop an effective internal IT team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
Experience supporting manufacturing, machining, or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
Familiarity with operational technology and plant-floor system integration.
Demonstrated experience managing IT budgets, vendors, projects, and organizational change.
Strong problem-solving, communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
Benefits
Annual salary of $115,000 to $135,000.
