Position Description
We seek a dynamic and results-driven professional with expertise in Institutional Sales, Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) or Investment Specialist functions to lead the expansion of our institutional client base and investment capabilities across Hong Kong and international markets. Depending on the successful candidate’s background and strengths, this senior role will drive client acquisition, enhancing investment solution offerings, and/or diversifying investment strategies. The individual will be responsible for deepening relationships with banks, insurance companies, corporates and large-scale investors, while supporting the firm’s global growth strategy. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to diversify revenue streams, broaden product capabilities, and enhance cross-border business development.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Design and execute a targeted sales and investment strategy to acquire and retain institutional clients, with a focus on Hong Kong local markets and cross-border opportunities (e.g., ASEAN, Middle East).

• Lead the promotion of the firm’s investment products, including equities, fixed income, multi-asset strategies.

• Conduct deep-dive analysis of client portfolios to align offerings with their investment objectives, regulatory constraints, and risk appetite.

• Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

• Develop tailored pitch books, thought leadership content, and client-specific proposals to articulate value propositions.

• Maintain CRM tracking to optimize client engagement and pipeline management.

• Partner with investment, product, and compliance teams to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions.

• Deliver regular updates to senior management on sales and investment metrics, client feedback, and market penetration progress.

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance, Business, Economics or related fields.

• 10+ years of institutional sales, CPM or Investment Specialist experience in asset management, private banking, or investment services, with a proven track record in servicing Hong Kong and international clients and deep understanding of institutional investor needs.

• Existing network across banks, insurers, corporates, or sovereign wealth funds is highly advantageous.

• Strategic mindset: Ability to translate market insights into actionable business plans.

• Entrepreneurial drive to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

• Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken).

• Proficiency in CRM systems, Bloomberg, and advanced PowerPoint/Excel for data-driven storytelling is preferred.
