Digital Technology Analyst - Finance (maternity cover)

What you will do

For the Central Digital Technology Finance team, based in Vimercate (MB), we are looking for a DT Finance Analyst. Main successes will include:

• Collaborate with corporate finance departments to improve current processes while helping the company achieve its goals

• Facilitate the transition from demand management to partnership proposition to improve finance processes. The business partner should be able to collect and analyze business requirements but would also provide additional value by suggesting any process improvements

• Support users in formalizing requirements, addressing solutions and designing processes by leveraging the Digitalization of Finance

• Lead projects, including managing multiple partners and stakeholders

• Support users in project activities and to test new features and improvements.

• Engage with other areas of DT to successfully deliver a range of solutions.

• Be a point of contact for third-party finance applications

What you need to succeed

Must have

• Knowledge of most relevant international accounting principles  

• Knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes in SAP (one of the two is required) S4Hana Experience is a plus.

• Application experience in govern projects considering basic fundamental of methodology

Education: Degree in Economics, Engineer or equivalent in relevant disciplines

Professional Experience: Professional experience (2/3 years) in a similar position in multinational companies or in consulting companies; sectors with high industrial complexity as with advanced and articulated information technology environment is preferred

Languages: Fluent in Italian & English

• Ability to work with Business and IT counterpart, including C/levels

• Propensity to innovation and transformation approaches

• Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize requests.

• Creative and analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills

• Process oriented mindset

• Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Comfortable working in small and large teams

• Flexibility to adjust priorities when business needs change
