Your Role
- Develop and program PLC software for special-purpose and measurement machines at the Oberkochen site
- Commission and coordinate external development partners, including the acceptance and evaluation of delivered results
- Advise development projects and stakeholders on technical feasibility and implementation
- Integrate machines into higher-level control and process systems
- Develop machine concepts and software designs, including the definition of interfaces and safety concepts
- Provide support during software integration and commissioning
Your Profile
- Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in the development of control and automation technology using Siemens STEP 7 / TIA Portal
- Experience in programming, commissioning, parameterization and diagnostics of drive systems (Siemens SINUMERIK / SIMOTION / SINAMICS)
- Expertise in Siemens HMI, OPC UA and safety systems
- Experience in programming and commissioning B&R and/or Beckhoff control systems would be an advantage
- Ideally, knowledge of Polarion, Enterprise Architect and Python
- Intercultural competence, strong teamwork skills and assertiveness
- Good written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel occasionally
