Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Non-Invasive Testing Department (NITD) Director and Operations Manager, the department secretary performs a wide range of secretarial duties for the following NITD areas: Autonomic Testing; Cardiac Stress Testing; EEG: Echocardiography Lab; EKG; Pulmonary Function Testing; and Vascular Lab.

 

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required Associate's Degree preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Non-Invasive Testing: 1-3 years' experience in medical, customer service setting Non-Invasive Testing: 1-3 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is preferred

• Experience with Epic is preferred

• Ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly as situations arise

• Knowledge of standard office equipment

• Professional and confidential telephone skills

• Can troubleshoot registration errors and establish a professional relationship with various scheduling departments
