What would you do? • We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Direct Tax professional responsible for leading U.S. Federal, State, and Local Tax compliance, reporting, governance, and stakeholder management activities. The role involves managing end-to-end direct tax processes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, collaborating with clients, tax advisors, and business stakeholders, and driving operational excellence across tax • prepares monthly quarterly calculation recording and reporting of tax transactions and effective tax rate reconciliation preparation of financial statements for Statutory Regulatory and Compliance requirement and for preparation of reconciliation and consolidation of accounts • The management of an enterprise s holdings, with the ultimate goal of managing the firm s liquidity and mitigating its operational, financial and reputational risk.
What are we looking for? • Primary skill - Front Middle and Back Office Treasury Management - P1 • • Strong knowledge of U.S. Federal, State, and Local Corporate Taxes • • Experience in Corporate Tax Compliance, Tax Reporting, Tax Provision, and Tax Forecasting • • Strong understanding of tax accounting and financial reporting under GAAP IFRS • • Experience managing tax audits, authority notices, and regulatory requirements • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex tax issues • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • • Experience handling tax reconciliations and tax • Value Add • • CA CMA CPA qualification • • Experience with Workday ERP • • Experience with OneSource Tax Application • • Exposure to process transitions and stabilization activities • • Experience in continuous improvement and automation initiatives • • Willingness to work night shifts • 5. Roles and Responsibilities: • 1. Direct Tax Compliance and Reporting • Corporate Tax Compliance • • Lead preparation and review of U.S. Federal, State, and Local Corporate Tax Returns. • • Review statutory accounts, tax packs, forecasts, and prior-period tax information. • • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of Corporate Tax Computations. • • Review tax-sensitive transactions and ensure appropriate tax treatment. • • Assess tax impacts arising from business transactions and changes in tax regulations. • • Ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing requirements and relevant tax regulations. • • Evaluate tax positions, elections, credits, incentives, and relief opportunities. • • Review and approve tax computation submission packs before filing. • Tax Payment Management • • Review tax payment requirements and ensure compliance with local tax regulations. • • Oversee estimated tax payments, interim tax payments, and final tax settlements. • • Review tax refund opportunities and ensure timely realization of recoverable balances. • • Approve tax payment requests and coordinate with finance teams for execution. • 2. Tax Provision and Accounting • • Review quarterly and annual tax provision calculations. • • Ensure compliance with ASC 740 and relevant tax accounting requirements. • • Review tax journals, deferred tax calculations, and supporting schedules. • • Ensure tax accounting reconciliations are completed accurately and within timelines. • • Support financial statement disclosures related to income taxes. • • Drive improvements in tax accounting processes and reporting controls. • 3. Tax Forecasting and Business Partnering • • Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders on quarterly forecasts and annual plans. • • Review effective tax rate (ETR) forecasts and cash tax projections. • • Analyze tax impacts of business decisions, restructurings, and strategic initiatives. • 4. Tax Audit and Risk Management
