Job purpose:

The role combines hands-on engineering, automation and operational troubleshooting in our data - and AI platform.

Your daily routine would include:

• Build and maintain platform services using Python, Kubernetes, Helm and Terraform.
• Operate Kafka-related components, authentication services and supporting platform tools.
• Develop automation, APIs, operational utilities and reusable infrastructure modules.
• Maintain CI/CD and GitOps workflows across environments.
• Integrate Azure services, Key Vault, managed identities, private endpoints, storage, databases and enterprise APIs.
• Configure Kubernetes object.
• Support Kafka topics, partitions, access controls, schemas, monitoring and consumer troubleshooting.
• Diagnose failures spanning applications, Kubernetes, identity, networking, storage and cloud services.
• Produce runbooks, Terraform documentation and operational handover material.
• Handle ServiceNow incidents and requests, contribute to on-call readiness and eliminate recurring manual work.
• Support emerging AIaaS and agentic-platform workloads where platform-engineering expertise is required.

We’ll know you can make it, if you have:

• Strong practical experience with Python, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure (or any cloud) and Terraform.
• Sound knowledge of containers, networking, identity, secrets and CI/CD.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems methodically and independently.
• Clear technical communication and a strong preference for automated, reproducible solutions.

Nice to Have:

• Spark, structured streaming or production data pipelines.
• Kafka.
• Exoscale or another European sovereign-cloud platform.
• Keycloak, OAuth/OIDC, SAML and enterprise IAM integration.
• Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry or similar observability tooling.
• ServiceNow and operational support processes.
• Agentic coding tools such as OpenCode, GitHub Copilot or comparable engineering assistants.
