As a Data Modernization - Director, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Advisory - Other practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts. You will make impactful decisions and oversee multiple projects, maintaining executive-level client relations. Translating the vision, you set the tone and inspire others to follow. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are all foundational to our success. You create a healthy working environment while maximizing client satisfaction. You cultivate the potential in others and actively team across the PwC Network, understanding tradeoffs, and leveraging our collective strength.

Responsibilities

- Leading the design and development of data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis
- Overseeing the implementation of data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions to support client needs
- Driving business growth by transforming raw data into actionable insights for informed decision-making
- Promoting technological advancements and fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together
- Mentoring and guiding teams in strategic planning and execution of data-driven initiatives
- Collaborating with executive-level clients to shape the direction of engagements and maintain strong relationships
- Identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful outcomes for the firm
- Developing and implementing data architecture strategies using platforms like Azure Data Factory and Snowflake
- Confirming data quality and security through best practices in database management and optimization
- Encouraging creativity and problem-solving by exploring multiple angles and innovative solutions

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 15+ years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Demonstrating proficiency in data engineering platforms like Apache Hadoop and Databricks

- Banking and Capital market industry experience is a must 
- Utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for data solutions
- Leading strategic data architecture development and optimization
- Excelling in data pipeline and data integration processes
- Promoting innovation through agile scalability and rapid experimentation
- Mentoring teams in data modernization and analytics engineering
