DATA & INTELLIGENCE DIRECTOR – SOUTH CONE

Edelman Intelligence is looking for a Data & Intelligence Director to lead our capabilities across Brazil, Argentina and Peru.

We are looking for someone who brings together research, analytics, client leadership and commercial thinking. Someone who understands the technical side of Intelligence, but also knows how to make it interesting, actionable and valuable to clients.

This is a regional leadership role based in Brazil or Argentina.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead our Intelligence capabilities across South Cone, connecting teams, resources and expertise across markets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, translating business and communications challenges into research and Intelligence solutions.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research, audience insights, reputation research, media and social intelligence, and communications measurement projects.
• Shape research approaches, methodologies, questionnaires, discussion guides and analytical plans according to client needs.
• Turn complex data and findings into compelling stories, implications and strategic recommendations.
• Lead client relationships and ensure high-quality thinking and delivery across multiple projects.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing relationships, develop new solutions and contribute to new business.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across the region.
• Partner with Strategy, Creative, Digital and Client teams to bring Intelligence into broader Edelman work.
• Explore how AI, automation and emerging technologies can make our research and Intelligence work smarter and more impactful.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Solid experience in market research, consumer insights, Data & Intelligence, communications research, analytics, measurement or related fields.
• Experience designing and leading qualitative and/or quantitative research, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, secondary research or measurement programs.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear, interesting and actionable recommendations.
• Experience managing senior client relationships and understanding the business questions behind the research brief.
• A commercial mindset, with experience identifying opportunities and supporting client growth or new business.
• Experience leading teams and complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with analytics, visualization, social and media intelligence, and research tools.
• Experience working collaboratively across different teams or markets.
• Curiosity around AI, innovation and emerging Intelligence capabilities.
• Advanced or fluent English. Spanish and/or Portuguese are highly valued.
