Data & Insights Enablement Lead – Spain

Role Summary

As Data & Insights Enablement Lead – Spain, you will be the local market’s strategic advisor on data, ensuring high-quality, standardized data to power our reporting, analytics, and AI capabilities. Working closely with the Global Commercial Analytics & AI (GCA) teams, you will translate country-level requirements into our data and AI layers to ensure consistency across key solutions (SMART, Pfire, sub-national analyses, and emerging AI tools).

You will also drive operational stewardship excellence for key commercial data domains, partnering with the Operational Data Stewardship Hub to hand over routine tasks and free up capacity for higher-value work. This is a pivotal role in evolving from traditional reporting toward AI-enabled analytics for our Customer Facing Colleague (CFC) teams and commercial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Data Advisory & Enablement

• Act as the local strategic advisor on how data is sourced, standardized, and consumed for current and future reporting, analytics, and AI needs.

• Provide country-level requirements to GCA data and AI layers to ensure consistency across key solutions and align local needs with the global data roadmap and standards.

• Balance global standards with local realities, adhering fully to local compliance while preserving consistency.

CFC Reporting & Performance Measurement

• Lead delivery of standardized CFC reporting and data solutions (SMART, SMART Discovery, Pfire) covering key executional and field-force effectiveness metrics.

• Ensure timely, accurate delivery of CFC and brand KPIs.

• Drive the strategic evolution of CFC reporting in alignment with the new CRM roll-out.

Data Stewardship & Data Quality

• Drive operational stewardship excellence for key domains (Customer Data, Meta Data) and manage data quality to support business decision-making.

• Maintain accuracy of geographical assignment and account/rep targeting data.

• Partner with the Operational Data Stewardship Hub to transition routine tasks; monitor data risks and serve as escalation point for quality issues.

Insight Generation & Stakeholder Partnership

• Serve as the primary contact and SME for CFC data and analytics to local sales leaders.

• With the stakeholders, translate data into clear, actionable recommendations, and align analytics activity to business priorities and go-to-market planning.

Change & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead requirements gathering and change management for reporting solutions (e.g. launches, new approvals), gathering field input to keep solutions fit for purpose.

• Partner with the IIS Lead, CEI Lead, CFE Lead, Pfizer Digital, Business Operations, GCA, to provision and maintain reporting and analytics solutions, including advanced analytics as needed.

• Deliver CFC analytics training and continuously develop your own and your team’s data capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Data Science).

• Extensive, multi-disciplinary experience across analytics, reporting & visualization, and customer analysis, with advanced strategic data management skills.

• Ability to act as a trusted strategic partner to commercial leadership, with strong business acumen and an agile, self-starter mindset in a matrixed environment.

• Fluency in English required.

Preferred

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry in international/European markets.

• Power-user experience with Tableau, Power BI, and/or Excel.

• Familiarity with pharma data sources (IQVIA, MIDAS, or local equivalents) and data stewardship/quality management.
