As a Data Engineer - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems and manage assigned workstreams, developing deliverables within client service engagements. You will build meaningful client connections, anticipate needs, and embrace increased ambiguity, using these moments as opportunities to grow. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will focus on relationship building, managing others, and navigating complexity. You will deepen your technical skills and awareness of your strengths, while upholding professional and technical standards. This position offers a chance to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, all while contributing to the firm's overall business strategies.

Responsibilities

- Designing and developing scalable data infrastructure and systems to support efficient data processing and analysis
- Implementing and managing data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions to facilitate seamless data flow
- Utilizing tools such as Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory to automate and optimize data workflows
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and drive business growth
- Maintaining data quality and integrity through validation and troubleshooting processes
- Leveraging platforms like Snowflake and Databricks to enhance data storage and analytics capabilities
- Developing data models and architectures to support business intelligence and reporting needs
- Confirming data security and compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks for data engineering projects
- Developing data architecture and optimization strategies using Snowflake and Databricks platforms
- Implementing data pipeline and data warehouse solutions with Apache Hadoop and Apache Airflow
- Excelling in analytical thinking and critical problem-solving within complex data environments
- Navigating ambiguity while building meaningful client relationships and managing team dynamics
