Data Management involves the process of collecting, storing, organizing, and maintaining data. It ensures that data is accurate, accessible, and secure. The goal is to support decision-making, improve efficiency, and comply with regulations by effectively handling data throughout its lifecycle. Primary skillsets often include Data Engineering with AWS. We are looking for a highly experienced AWS/Azure Data Engineer with 9–12 years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms on AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-native data services, ETL/ELT frameworks, big data processing, and data warehousing to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
What are we looking for? • Data Platform Engineering • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS and/or Azure • Build robust batch and real-time data ingestion frameworks • Develop reusable data transformation components for enterprise analytics platforms • Implement high-performance and cost-efficient data processing solutions • Architect and manage data solutions using o AWS Glue o Amazon Redshift o Amazon S3 o AWS Lambda o Azure Data Factory (ADF) – Data Integration o Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) o Azure Synapse Analytics o Azure Databricks • Strong stakeholder communication & requirement analysis • Ability to drive end-to-end data platform delivery • Problem-solving and analytical thinking • Mentoring junior engineers • Cross-functional collaboration • Ownership mindset & proactive delivery approach • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty • AWS Solutions Architect • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
Roles and Responsibilities: • In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems • Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures • The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or team leads • Generally, interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture • The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments • Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams • Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
