About the role
We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Intern to join our Information Security team. You will gain hands-on experience in threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and security compliance while working alongside experienced security professionals.

What will you be doing?
- Security Monitoring: Assist in analyzing alerts using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to detect potential threats and suspicious behavior.
- Vulnerability Assessments: Support routine vulnerability scans, document findings, and assist teams with tracking remediation tasks.
- Incident Response Support: Help gather logs, analyze forensic artifacts, and document post-incident reviews during security events.
- Security Awareness & Documentation: Assist in creating employee phishing simulations, training materials, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Threat Intelligence Research: Track emerging cyber threats, software vulnerabilities, and industry trends to recommend defensive updates.
What are we looking for?
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Solid understanding of core networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls, OSI Model).
- Basic familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems via command-line interface.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
- Understanding of general security principles (encryption, multi-factor authentication, least privilege).
What will make you stand out?
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation.
- Exposure to software development tools and development environments
- Previous software and cyber security experience with relevant coursework or experience.
