Your Role

Leads a cybersecurity software engineering team, accountable for people, capability, delivery health, engineering quality and effective deployment of specialists across product and platform work. 

RFQ / Concept 

Confirm competency, staffing and estimation assumptions for new pursuits. 

Planning / Architecture 

Assign owners, approve delivery model and close capability gaps. 

Implementation / Integration 

Run delivery and technical governance; remove organizational blockers. 

Verification / Release 

Review readiness, quality trends, residual risk and staffing sustainability. 

Production / Operations 

Drive incident support, lessons learned, reuse and capability investment. 

Key responsibilities 

• Build and deploy a balanced team of architects, product owners and developers. 

• Own staffing, competency plans, coaching, succession and certification roadmaps. 

• Establish technical review, quality and escalation mechanisms. 

• Monitor delivery, quality, reuse, capacity and compliance indicators. 

• Coordinate suppliers and global stakeholders while retaining internal ownership of critical decisions and knowledge. 

EDUCATION  B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline 

EXPERIENCE  12–16 years 

Your Background

Required competencies 

• Proven leadership of automotive embedded software or product-security teams. 

• Working knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434, Automotive SPICE, secure development and customer delivery. 

• Resource planning, risk management, supplier governance and executive communication. 

• Ability to coach leaders and create measurable capability improvement. 

Preferred competencies 

• ISO/SAE 21434 assessor experience, cybersecurity certification and multi-region organizational leadership.
