Whether assisting families with notices, supporting government and business clients, or helping customers navigate our products and services, you'll be part of a team that makes a real impact every day.

We’re looking for a dynamic Customer Service professional who enjoys variety and thrives in a busy environment. You’ll support customers across different areas of the business, confidently moving between calls, orders, inbox enquiries and administration, while providing friendly, accurate and efficient service.

About the role:

• Taking incoming customer and order enquiry calls.
• Managing multiple queues and servicing different business units.
• Processing classified advertising orders for business clients including government organisations, agencies and funeral directors.
• Assisting members of the public with advertisements including death notices, real estate, motoring, employment and general classifieds.
• Proofreading and editing customer advertisements and online orders.
• Booking advertisements and coordinating artwork requirements.
• Setting up and maintaining the daily index.
• Managing multiple inboxes and customer requests.
• Providing outstanding customer service while meeting deadlines and service standards.

About you:

You'll be an adaptable team player who enjoys helping people and can confidently manage competing priorities.

To

• Previous customer service experience, either phone-based or face-to-face.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Confidence learning new systems and processes.
• Experience in contact centres, administration, internal sales, or industries such as funerals, insurance, healthcare, real estate, superannuation, or media will be highly regarded.
