Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands ensuring that all solutions meet high standards of quality, scalability, and performance while aligning with the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain seamless progress and address challenges is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

Role: Data Engineer proficient in Databricks and data mesh principles, responsible for adopting and enabling IBDF tools (DRS, DVP, and Datashield) to build governed, discoverable, and secure data products within the RevCentral domain.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and project contributions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software solutions with business needs.
- Monitor project progress and implement best practices to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote continuous learning within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and architectures.
- Expertise in data integration, transformation, and storage solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies to support data processing needs.
- Ability to optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Experience with data governance and security best practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
