Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding and mentoring development teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation. The position focuses on establishing and maintaining high standards for development practices, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and meet the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business needs is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Role: Java Low-Latency Engineer responsible for JVM tuning and performance optimization to deliver Project Aegis NFRI control requirements within a technology financing environment.


Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead the team in adopting best practices and innovative approaches to software development.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development among team members to enhance overall performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable software architectures.
- In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Ability to optimize application performance and ensure code quality through rigorous testing and reviews.
- Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration processes.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java Standard Edition.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
