Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders. The position demands coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions, while continuously overseeing progress and addressing challenges to meet project goals effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance team productivity and product quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Good To Have Skills: Automated Testing.
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and software configuration management.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues within enterprise systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices in custom application engineering.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
