Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective application designs. The role includes assisting in defining detailed requirements and contributing to the architectural design of software solutions that align with organizational processes. This position requires continuous engagement with various teams to ensure that the applications developed meet the intended business objectives and provide seamless user experiences. The engineer actively participates in refining workflows and supports the integration of new functionalities to enhance overall system performance and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement among team members.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday HCM Security.
- Strong understanding of access control frameworks and security protocols within enterprise applications.
- Experience in configuring and managing role-based security models to safeguard sensitive information.
- Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into effective system configurations.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting security issues and implementing corrective measures to maintain system integrity.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align security practices with business objectives.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday HCM Security.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
