Join one of the most stable and collegial Critical Care teams in the St. Louis region at Mercy Hospital South, a large, established community hospital known for its strong physician culture, advanced technology, and commitment to quality patient care.
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Critical Care Physician to become part of a highly respected team of nine experienced intensivists supported by 24/7 in-house Advanced Practice Provider coverage.
Position Highlights
- Week-on / Week-off schedule
- 182 shifts annually
- Only 6-8 weeks of nights per year
- 40-bed ICU
- Typical daily census of 12-16 patients per physician
- Dedicated 24/7 in-house APP support
- High-acuity, procedure-rich practice
- No residency program or teaching obligations, allowing physicians to focus on patient care
- Opportunities to work with medical students if desired
- State-of-the-art equipment
