- Customer account management: Building effective relationships with business customers, issuing invoices and statements, and dealing professionally with payment queries and disputes.
- Aged debt management and reporting: Reviewing aged debtor reports, identifying overdue accounts and potential payment risks, and taking appropriate action to minimise outstanding debt and keep debtor days as low as possible.
- Query resolution: Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies, short payments and other issues that may delay payment, working with internal departments where necessary.
- Internal collaboration: Working closely with colleagues across Sales and other departments to resolve customer issues, agree payment solutions and support the timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Cashbook posting and payment allocation: Recording customer receipts accurately, allocating payments to the correct accounts and investigating unallocated cash.
- Bank reconciliations: Supporting the reconciliation of bank accounts and ensuring transactions are recorded accurately.
- Transactional finance support: Assisting with day-to-day accounts processing and general finance administration as required.
- Wider accounts support: Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations, purchase invoice processing and other routine finance duties where needed.
