Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a new team player to join our team as:

CREATIVE SERVICES MEDIA TRAFFIC MANAGER

Type of employment:  Temporary position for 1 year (employed through the staffing agency Grafton) 
Location: Riga, Latvia 
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)  

THE ROLE

The Traffic Manager will be a key bridge between the European media planning & buying process and the creative asset development & delivery process to ensure the right message is connected to the in-market Circle K campaigns that consumers will see. The person loves to fit the right pieces of the puzzle and will be the connector on key workstreams which cross our Media channel partners & Circle K, as well as specific internal Circle K tasks related to creative trafficking.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and maturity to work across agency teams, creative partners and client constituents. Most of the time spent will be focused on Digital Media (Social, Digital Direct-Programmatic across OLA/OLV), yet other media channels will be incorporated based on specific campaigns (Audio, OOH, some Local TV).  Additionally, expertise related to creative best practices and making recommendations or taking decisions on assets to prioritize is expected.

Success will be measured by streamlined, accurate, on-time delivery of assets necessary for media activations as well as noticeable decrease in volume and frequency of time spent by the Circle K clients on these tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the creative trafficking process across client/creative team/media agency/vendor partners;

• Seek a consumer-centric view; which type of asset do we think will trigger behavior?

• Share files from Circle K DAM to Media team, supporting and verifying assets to match media buys;
• Fill out a social tracker for every campaign which drops in the creative name, the caption copy for posting, targeting timeframe and location;
• Manage asset versions and A/B testing changes needed during campaign;
• Upload content to Circle K owned channels (like Meta, YouTube);
• Collaborate with client team to update various tools in the process - Adobe Workfront and other Adobe Creative tools, Smartly, Aprimo DAM, Media partner planning tools, etc;

• Responsible for utilizing knowledge of media relevant to the client’s business including TV, print, digital, search, spot TV, and radio;
• Interface with clients, internal departments, and vendor partners to ensure assets are accurately mapped;

• Initiate recommendations to streamline the overall workflow and suggest solutions related to the asset creation/project management process across client and agency team;
• Track status of workstreams and be able to jump in & out of simultaneous campaign threads.

• Comprehensive media knowledge (particularly digital media) and ability to synthesize information into ideas;
• Creative background to be able to make judgment calls on assets needed & recommended;
• Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure;
• Ownership of key workstreams, with minimal oversight, both internally and externally;
• Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills in English;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills;

• Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems, Project Management tools, Microsoft tools (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
• Solid understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as understanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirementsy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience required;
• Minimum 4+ years of related experience in Media, creative operations, project management, traffic management, marketing operations, or agency account/project leadership;
• Strong understanding of media advertising processes, digital marketing campaign execution and asset delivery workflows;
• Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of concurrent projects across multiple markets, stakeholders and business priorities;
• Experience managing resource allocation, capacity planning and workflow optimization in a creative environment;
• Advanced proficiency with project management and workflow systems (eg. Workfront);
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across multiple countries and functions;
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
• Strong analytical mindset with experience utilizing KPIs and operational metrics to improve team performance;
• Ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong attention to detail and executional excellence;
• Positive leadership style with a focus on collaboration, accountability, coaching and continuous improvement.
