What to Expect?

The Creative Marketing Lead is a strategic and hands-on creative professional responsible for translating Pinch A Penny’s business and marketing priorities into compelling creative across retail, digital, brand and company initiatives.

This role directly creates and executes graphic design work, from initial concepts and layouts through final production-ready assets. The Creative Marketing Lead combines strong design, copywriting and project-management skills to develop integrated campaigns, maintain brand consistency and deliver effective marketing materials across customer and franchise touchpoints.
 

On a daily basis our Creative Marketing Lead:

Creative Strategy & Brand

• Ensures creative is consistent with Pinch A Penny’s brand positioning, personality, voice and visual identity.
• Translates business objectives, customer insights, promotional strategies and channel plans into compelling creative concepts and messaging.
• Develops campaign themes, headlines, copy and visual direction for promotions, product launches, service initiatives and company priorities.
• Supports creative needs for franchise development, partnerships and corporate communications.

Graphic Design & Creative Execution

• Personally designs and produces marketing materials across print and digital channels, including direct mail, email, social media, website graphics, paid media, in-store signage and promotional collateral.
• Creates original concepts, layouts and finished artwork that communicate product benefits, promotional offers and customer value clearly.
• Adapts and resizes creative assets for different audiences, channels, formats and regional needs while maintaining brand consistency.
• Prepares production-ready files that meet print vendor requirements and digital platform specifications.

Integrated Campaigns & Content

• Develops and executes integrated seasonal and regional campaigns across traditional and digital channels.
• Pairs strong visual design with clear, engaging copy to create cohesive communications.
• Adapts campaign messaging and creative for different stages of the customer journey.
• Collaborates with marketing and business partners to ensure creative supports campaign objectives and channel needs.

Creative Production & Project Management

• Manages multiple creative projects from brief and concept through design, production, approval and execution.
• Coordinates with internal teams, agencies, freelancers and production partners to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Provides creative direction and feedback for externally produced design, photography, video and content.
• Maintains project timelines, creative assets and production workflows.
• Reviews final materials for accuracy, brand consistency and production quality.

What You Will Need:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in hands-on graphic design and creative execution, with a strong portfolio of personally produced print and digital work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, with the ability to independently produce finished, production-ready assets.
• Experience developing integrated campaigns across traditional and digital channels, with a strong understanding of brand consistency, retail marketing, promotions and customer acquisition.
• Strong copywriting, messaging and storytelling skills.
• Collaborative, proactive and highly organized, with strong project-management skills and experience coordinating internal teams and external creative partners to deliver multiple projects on deadline.

Preferred Experience

• College-level degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field.
• Experience in retail, franchise, multi-location, home services or consumer marketing.
• Familiarity with Figma, Canva or other complementary creative tools.
• Photography, video editing, motion graphics or video production experience is a plus, but is not required.
