Winter 2027 Course Lecturer Position

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is inviting applications for a course lecturer position to teach in Winter 2027. Please include your cover letter and Curriculum Vitae.
MECH 289 - Design Graphics, Section I (Civil Engineering section).
Instructor must cover all material as written in the Course Outline on the McGill Course Catalogue page, as follows:
- The design process, including free-hand sketching; from geometry construction to engineering construction; the technology and standards of engineering graphic communication; designing with CAD software. The role of visualization in the production of engineering designs.
Teaching Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum of Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum of three years’ teaching experience or in industry related to Design Graphics software.
- Good knowledge of Design Graphics software, Auto CAD, and hands-free sketching.
- Demonstrated knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Understanding of cross-cultural practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and flexible approach to teaching.
