Job Description:

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As Activation Marketer within Abrasive Solutions Division (ASD) in Spain, you will be the main responsible for driving share gain through demand generation, sales enablement and local program execution, providing relevant insights and input into area and global teams.

 

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading local activities aligned to division activation calendar with local sales team, including activation of different go-to-market models and sales enablement tactics
• Executing demand generation programming and tracking conversion from area activation plan at country level driving pull (volume out) through local channel & converter partners
• Providing local analytics and insights back to AMOL and global teams for ongoing program refinement, and Lead to Revenue and account targeting
• Communicating marketing updates to local sales and channel teams
• Advancing local market share growth and 3M brand preference by providing insight and local requirements through Area Marketing Operations and Area Portfolio
• Execution of local activation plan built from global plan priorities
• Key program / campaign deployment
• End-2-end Commercialisation of NPI’s
• Share gain in partnership with sales
• Local country insights, competitive market tracking, and channel execution
• Portfolio management support to Spain country team
• Influencing the marketing programs, portfolio and planning

 

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

 

• Previous experience of sales and/or marketing experience
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related discipline
• Strong operational acumen
• Ability to effectively interact with and influence diverse teams
• Language skills: Fluency in Spanish and strong English communication skills

 

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Strong leader with good communication and planning
• Ability to energise and inspire individuals in cross-functional teams
• Assured in thinking and planning analytically
• Experience in marketing planning
• Experience within Abrasives market
• Experience with event management

Job specifics:

• Work location: This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the office at 3M Center, located in Madrid
• Travel expectations: May include up to 20-25% domestic/international
• Working pattern: full time
