What Makes You A Great Fit
-
You're smart, curious, and eager to learn. You don't need to know everything yet - we don't expect you to. But you want to understand why things work the way they do, and you're willing to dig until they make sense.
-
You take pride in your work. Details matter to you. You proofread. You check your work. And you don't consider something finished just because you've reached the bottom of the page.
-
You're comfortable asking questions. You know there's a difference between figuring something out and guessing, and you're not afraid to ask for guidance when you need it.
-
You learn quickly. You take feedback well, apply it the next time, and want your second attempt at something to be noticeably better than your first.
-
You're a strong writer and clear thinker. You can research an unfamiliar issue, identify what matters, and explain what you've found without burying the answer.
-
You're organized and dependable. If you're given an assignment, you keep track of it, communicate about it, and get it done.
-
You want to understand the business. You're interested in more than the legal answer. You want to understand what Flex is building, how our products work, and why the question matters in the first place.
-
You're willing to do the work. No assignment is beneath you, and you understand that becoming a great lawyer means getting the fundamentals right before anything else.
-
You're comfortable with change. Priorities move quickly at a startup, new questions come up constantly, and you won't always have a form, precedent, or perfectly defined assignment waiting for you.
-
You want responsibility and are ready to earn it. We'll give you meaningful work, support, and opportunities to grow. What you do with those opportunities is up to you.
