THE JOB:

As a Cook at Mandalay Bay's StripSteak, you will expertly apply your culinary techniques to create delicious dishes that delight our guests. Your friendly smile and exceptional service will set the stage for a memorable dining experience, allowing you to connect with guests and understand their unique stories and needs. Join us in crafting unforgettable WOW moments that guests will cherish long after their visit!

THE STARTING RATE: 26.6831 USD Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques

• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment

• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service

• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation

• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation

• Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service

• Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 18 years of age or older

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

• 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a Cook preferred

• Experience in a similar resort setting preferred

• Formal Culinary training preferred
