The purpose of the COO Tech domain is to: Increase transparency and control over which IT products and services are delivered and consumed throughout ING in a standardized manner, leading to faster, more cost-efficient, and increased usage of our growing technology platform.

The top structure of COO Tech consists of four subdepartments, with several teams operating under their leadership: 1) CTO Development & Support, 2) Change & Transformation, 3) Product & Service Management and 4) Reporting & Insights (CDO).

You will join the COO Tech Change and Transformation team, hierarchically reporting to the Expert Lead.

Roles and responsibilities


Lead the transformation of Global Infrastructure into a product-led, globally integrated organisation, enabling the successful adoption of the Infrastructure Target Operating Model and the vision of One Global Infrastructure.

This role is accountable for driving the cultural, behavioural and leadership changes required to embed new ways of working, strengthen accountability, and accelerate organisational adoption.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in leading large-scale organisational and cultural transformations within technology and infrastructure environments, including the successful global implementation of new Target Operating Models.
Experience operating in platform-based or product-led organisations is essential.

You combine a strong understanding of infrastructure, program management and operating model design with the ability to translate strategic objectives into sustainable behavioural change.

You have successfully delivered measurable outcomes in culture transformation, organisational readiness, workforce transition, and the implementation of new operating models. Above all, you are a senior change leader who understands technology and infrastructure sufficiently to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive lasting change across people, processes and ways of working.

• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in managing global change initiatives is required, with a track record of successfully implementing infrastructure Operating models globally.
• Excellent understanding of the tech landscape and global processes within ING
• Knowledge of the ING infrastructure environment and a strong network are a plus

Skills:

• Excellent Infrastructure program management skills.
• Organizational sensitive with the ability to build trust with senior leadership
• Proven ability to implement Infrastructure operating model globally.
• Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  This includes demonstrated experience with ensuring ownership of deliverables as well as ensuring key decisions are timely made.
• High resilience, the ability to deal with ambiguity and manage complexity
• Proactive, can-do mentality, a positive mind-set
• A naturally collaborative person, who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals and at the same time pushes, where needed, to achieve results
• Excellent level of English, communication, and presentation skills
