We are looking for a Controls Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in control systems and electrical engineering, with an interest in industrial automation, PLC programming, and control system design.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in controls engineering, automation projects, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of control system and electrical hardware (HW) using AutoCAD.
- Support the preparation and modification of electrical control drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Assist in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs and related automation systems.
- Support engineers in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Participate in commissioning and startup activities at project sites when required.
- Assist in identifying and resolving hardware and control system issues.
- Ensure engineering designs and documentation comply with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in Controls, Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
Good understanding of control systems and industrial automation.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical/control system drawings.
Knowledge of PLC programming is preferred.
Experience or knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs is a strong plus.
Exposure to commissioning and startup activities is a plus.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
