The Consumer Peripherals DACH Category Manager owns the growth, profitability, and market success of HP's consumer peripherals portfolio across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

This role combines category strategy, business management, and execution to drive revenue, market share, and customer engagement across retail, e-tail, partner channels, and hp.com. The successful candidate is data-driven, action-oriented, and thrives on overcoming challenges in a fast-moving market environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion a growth mindset by proactively solving problems, removing obstacles, and driving continuous improvement

• Own the Consumer Peripherals category strategy and business plan across the DACH region.

• Drive revenue, market share, and profitability through effective execution of the 4P strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promotion).

• Manage product line performance, forecasting, quotas, and P&L responsibility.

• Develop and execute annual and multi-year growth plans aligned with regional and global priorities.

• Monitor business performance and identify growth opportunities through data, market insights, and customer feedback.

• Leverage AI-driven analytics and automation tools to improve forecasting, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

• Build strong relationships with retail partners, distributors, e-tailers, and internal sales teams.

• Manage product lifecycle activities from introduction through end-of-life.

• Align category priorities across retail, partner channels, and hp.com.

• Present business performance, opportunities, and risks to leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Work Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in Category Management, Product Management, Brand Management, or Business Management.

• Strong exposure to consumer products and retail/e-tail environments.

• Experience managing business performance, product lines, or commercial initiatives is preferred.

Strategic & Analytical Skills

• Familiarity with AI-powered analytics, business intelligence tools, forecasting models, and automation solutions.

• Growth-oriented mindset with a focus on execution and continuous improvement.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience using data to identify trends, generate insights, and influence business decisions.

• Comfortable translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to influence across functions without direct authority.

• Comfortable working with sales, marketing, finance, and regional/global teams.

• Ability to present recommendations clearly to both operational and executive audiences.
