Principal Duties & Responsibilities: (List essential functions of the job and approx. percentage of time spent on each activity; describe what must be accomplished, not how it must be done)
(40%) Independently conceive, plan and write compelling promotional and educational copy for pre- and post-sales communication and marketing, including, but not limited to: RFP responses, newsletters, sales touch points, marketing collateral, participant education, presentations, news releases, web site content, social media posts and other key communications to external customers as needed by the business.
(20%) Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate and drive strategic marketing initiatives; build relationships within the organization, reconcile feedback and achieve alignment on marketing solutions.
(5%)
Coordinate with design and content vendors and create successful teaming approach to support critical business objectives ensuring quality and delivery timing. (10%)
Provide accountability to stakeholders for successful achievement of special projects or initiatives connected to customer communication; lead or participate in special projects and internal process improvements. Provide effectiveness feedback to appropriate stakeholders.
(25%) Format and design marketing flyers using Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint presentations, and Brainshark presentations. Work within our marketing automation platforms (Acoustic and Marketing Cloud) to format marketing emails and invitations.
(5%) Collaborate with brand, legal and compliance partners to ensure compliance of all materials.
(5%) Other duties as assigned.
Essential function requirements:
Demonstrated skills: Independent judgment; discretion; customer service skills; excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; detail-oriented; professional demeanor; strong organizational skills; Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite; experienced in design principles; ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Ability to: Advanced writing ability; the ability to understand, research, organize and present complex concepts, products and service differentiators in clear, accurate, interesting and persuasive ways; Skill in design,; work collaboratively in a team environment; maintain confidentiality; prioritize, organize and coordinate work assignments; use Microsoft Office tools; use Adobe Creative Cloud suite; communicate and interact with people at all levels in the organization, industry and community; ability to meet deadlines; and ability to understand company operations, products and markets.
Job Specifications: (Include education, experience, special skills and licenses or certifications required)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, business or equivalent experience. Experience: 5-7 years’ experience writing and developing content for marketing and communication collateral in a B2B environment. 2-3 years’ experience in developing graphic design for marketing and communications collateral in a B2B environment. Excellent copywriting and content editing skills. Strong knowledge of and demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite on a PC, including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Experience with presentation platforms, including PowerPoint and Brainshark Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive results and champion a project from conception to implementation. Excellent planning and organization skills with strong attention to detail. Able to multi-task and comfortable working in both a team and independent environment. Financial services industry knowledge and experience strongly preferred; retirement plan marketing experience a plus.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.
The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.
Salary Range:
$76,250.00 - $111,500.00Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
