Your Role at Cabot
In this role, you will provide critical support to Cabot's Americas Commercial team, partnering closely with Sales, Technical Service, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service colleagues. You will help ensure the smooth execution of commercial processes by managing pricing administration, maintaining customer and sales data, coordinating sample programs, supporting reporting activities, and delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Through your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach, you will contribute to the efficiency of commercial operations while helping the team identify and support new business opportunities.
How You Will Make an Impact
Administer pricing, rebate, and commission processes, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
Communicate approved price changes directly to customers and maintain historical pricing information.
Coordinate customer account setup within CRM systems, including payment terms, credit limits, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Support distributor evaluation processes and contract administration activities.
Maintain distributor records, market segmentation data, sales information, and other commercial documentation.
Process and coordinate customer sample requests, ensuring timely delivery and proper follow-up.
Work closely with Technical Service teams to support customer requirements, specifications, and product-related inquiries.
Maintain customer and vendor documentation and ensure information is easily accessible and up to date.
Support Accounts Receivable activities by helping track and resolve outstanding payment issues.
Prepare monthly reports related to sales performance, opportunities, and new product introductions.
Monitor market trends and collaborate with the commercial team to identify potential growth opportunities.
Maintain opportunity and target account information within forecasting and CRM systems.
Support product specification and product data maintenance activities in cooperation with Technical Product Managers.
Assist with customer requests related to product quality, safety, and SHE requirements.
Contribute to business analysis and other projects that support commercial success.
What You Will Bring to Cabot
Higher education or equivalent professional experience.
Previous experience in commercial support, sales support, customer service, business operations, or a similar function.
Experience working in a multinational organization is considered an advantage.
Experience with CRM and ERP systems is preferred.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently while building effective relationships across multiple functions.
Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
Additional Details:
Working Hours: 14:00 - 22:30.
Permanent contract.
Monthly allowance & Yearly bonus.
Health insurance from first day of work.
Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days’ work from home).
Salary: 1650 -2250 EUR Gross. The final salary offer will depend on the candidate’s previous experience and qualifications.
