About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an experienced Cloud / Network / Cybersecurity Engineer to support and maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing technology infrastructure.
Depending on your background and specialization, this role may focus on cloud engineering, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevOps, systems administration, or a combination of these areas.
You’ll help configure and monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage access and authentication, support security operations, and contribute to infrastructure deployments and upgrades.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with a practical understanding of networking, cloud environments, systems, and security best practices.
What You’ll Own
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
- Configure, monitor, and maintain cloud and infrastructure environments
- Support platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, or related technologies
- Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance
- Assist with infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes
- Help maintain reliable and scalable technical environments
Network Engineering & Troubleshooting
- Configure and support network environments
- Troubleshoot network, connectivity, DNS, routing, and infrastructure issues
- Diagnose complex technical problems across systems and environments
- Monitor network health and performance
- Help maintain reliable connectivity across business systems
Cybersecurity & Security Operations
- Implement and maintain security best practices
- Monitor systems for potential security issues
- Support security-related troubleshooting and incident response
- Help identify infrastructure vulnerabilities and operational risks
- Collaborate with relevant teams to improve the organization’s security posture
Identity & Access Management
- Manage user access, permissions, and authentication
- Support appropriate access controls across systems and platforms
- Troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues
- Help maintain secure access practices
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and access changes when required
Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor systems for performance, availability, and security issues
- Investigate alerts and technical incidents
- Support incident response and troubleshooting
- Identify root causes and help implement corrective actions
- Escalate critical infrastructure or security issues appropriately
Infrastructure Automation
- Identify repetitive infrastructure tasks that can be automated
- Build or support automation for routine technical processes
- Improve consistency and efficiency across infrastructure workflows
- Reduce unnecessary manual administration where possible
Documentation & Technical Operations
- Maintain clear technical documentation
- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Keep operational and security documentation current
- Support repeatable processes for deployments, incidents, and system changes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, security, and business teams
- Support technical projects and infrastructure initiatives
- Communicate technical issues clearly to relevant stakeholders
- Help coordinate deployments, upgrades, and operational changes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, DevOps, systems administration, or a related infrastructure role
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and/or enterprise networking technologies
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and security best practices
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical and connectivity issues
- Understanding of user access, permissions, and authentication
- Experience monitoring infrastructure, networks, or systems
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Professional working English
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Relevant technical certifications
- Cloud certifications related to AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Networking or cybersecurity certifications
- Experience with infrastructure or task automation
- Experience supporting incident response
