Analyst, Infection Management

As the Analyst within Infection Management, you will work with the Infection Prevention Managers, Clinical SMEs and the Infection Management Team to support, enhance, and measure efforts intended to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes.  

The Analyst is responsible for supporting DaVita’s clinical and infection prevention strategy through project management and analysis. This role will contribute to departmental and operational goals, AND will involve pulling and compiling data and clinical measures, execution of scalable innovation projects and change initiatives that advance DaVita’s multi-year clinical goals. 

The Analyst’s primary objective is to partner with diverse teams from around the enterprise to manage initiative timelines and produce analytical insights across a broad range of clinical initiatives. This person must be able to think critically, work successfully with cross-functional teams, and have the maturity to interact directly with both peers and executives across departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with large-scale software projects with tangible impact on operating performance 

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint

• Familiarity with software development, support, or implementation processes

• Proficiency or demonstrated ability to learn and develop proficiency in any of the following preferred: SQL, Tableau, Anaplan, Python, R, Power BI, etc.

• Ability to use computer and all peripherals for extended periods of time

• Advanced critical thinking, strong work ethic, creative mindset, adept communication skills, attention to detail, design-mindedness, flexibility with change, comfort with ambiguity, efficient time management, technical aptitude, and business acumen

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Support Clinical Initiatives and Education: Including managing processes, driving the right set of analyses, and presenting conclusions to leadership.

• Collaborate with Internal and External Partners: Build strong relationships with internal teams (Patient Safety, Operations, Risk, Clinical Support, IT, etc.) to ensure alignment and integration of patient safety software applications. Build strong relationships with external organizations, like Departments of Health, Renal Networks or other.

• Data Collection: Collects information on facility-level trends and/or outliers. Creates, maintains, and distributes reports and dashboards related to clinical outcomes, surveillance, on a regular basis

• Communication: Create and edit impactful, succinct written and oral communications.

• Data Analysis: Leverage a hypotheses-based approach to identify, validate, and quantify opportunities; analyze large data sets to derive meaningful insights and incorporate 'real world' considerations into work; use continuous improvement tools when appropriate.

• Project Management: Manages the application of processes, methods, timelines or other to achieve specific project objectives (Project Management Methodology).

The Salary Range for the role is $57,784.00 - $85,000.00 per year.

 

 

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour

Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
