Montefiore Behavioral Health Center provides comprehensive services for emotionally troubled individuals and integrated substance abuse treatment, while promoting the mental health of all community residents.  Treatment is provided with dignity and respect by highly skilled professionals, board-certified in psychiatry. The Clinical Manager will be responsible for the supervision of social work staff and daily clinical needs of the Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitation Services (MHOTRS) clinic.  Ensure that the clinical services are appropriate and consistent with the objectives of the program and regulatory agencies through supervision and project development.  Implement and oversee CQI activities and measurement of performance improvement initiatives.  

 

Job Responsibilities: 
•    Clinical point person for Intake services in collaboration with the director or their designee 
•    Oversee CQI activities and performance improvement initiatives, including the design and implementation of clinical projects/services
•    Design and implementation of clinical initiatives 
•    Clinical and administrative supervision, including hiring, firing, progressive discipline 
•    Manage the census - Develop and maintain a referral network.  Knowledge of insurance reimbursement requirements
•    Oversee daily operations of the location
•    Participate in leadership meetings and departmental initiatives

 

Qualifications:

•    Master’s degree required
•    New York State License in psychology or Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) required
•    3 years supervisory experience preferred
•    Spanish speaking preferred

 

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 9am -5:30pm
