The Clinical & Sales Training Specialist will support the delivery and embedding of Clinical and Sales Training across the Benelux region, developing the clinical knowledge, selling skills, confidence and competencies of the internal Insulet team, including Clinical Service Managers, Clinical Product Educators, Territory Managers and the wider Sales organisation. Through the design and delivery of high-quality training programmes, the role will equip employees to deliver impactful and effective interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs) and people living with diabetes (PwD), increasing confidence and competence in the use of Omnipod therapy and ultimately driving product adoption, customer success and improved patient outcomes.

Responsibilities 

• Support the delivery of both clinical and commercial capability across the region.
• Work with the Clinical Education Training Specialist and Sales Training Manager to develop and deliver clinical, product and selling skills training for both new and established Sales and Clinical team members across Benelux.
• Work with the Clinical and Sales teams in region to build knowledge, confidence and competence, driving clinical and sales excellence, supporting increased adoption of Omnipod and achievement of business goals.
• Deliver new product launch training and key commercial messages to internal teams in region, in conjunction with other commercial functions.
• Deliver education and training programmes for internal Clinical and Sales teams across Benelux, supporting onboarding and ongoing capability development to build clinical expertise, product knowledge and selling skills excellence, enabling a best-in-class customer experience.
• Provide and evaluate the technical product training required for Certified Pod Trainer accreditation, ensuring new and established team members maintain a consistent and high standard of training delivery.
• Delivers digital, virtual and face-to-face training in both group and individual settings.

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience of delivering and embedding clinical/ sales training to Field Teams and HCPs
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French 
• Professional up-to-date credentials and/or certifications are preferred e.g. Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Diabetes technology experience is preferred.
• Prior industry and commercial experience strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements: 

• Valid driver’s license required.  
• This position requires regular business travel within region, at times extensive travel to conduct training events and ‘field visits’ 
• Overnight travel and amount of air travel varies by monthly need (up to 50%)
• The work environment will be, home office and car, as well as the Regional Office for our international markets (Utrecht, London). There will be requirement as part of field visits to visit HCPs offices & clinics.
