ABOUT SEO

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Client Services Manager is a strategic and tactical liaison to SEO's alternative investment partners and Conference (AICON) Sponsors, and a key operational driver of SEO's programming. This role supports management of the end-to-end partner relationship for a portfolio of 50+ alternative investment partners — collecting recruiting needs, communicating to program teams, and ensuring they are met to partners' satisfaction — while also supporting the execution of the SEO Alternative Investments Conference (AICON) and Limited Partner (LP) programming. The role maintains a comprehensive strategic plan spanning marketing, communications, tracking, and data maintenance, and supports the Director, Partnership Management and the Associate Director, AICON & E&F (Endowment & Foundations) in maintaining positive, professional relationships across the SEO community.

Partnership Management

  • Act as the client contact support for Director, Partnership Management, across a portfolio of 50+ alternative investment partners.
  • Support the Associate Director, AICON and E&F in managing and maintaining conference sponsorships.
  • Attend partner meetings, documenting meeting notes and action items.
  • Coordinate the internal partner access process, sharing candidate resumes/profiles with partners, tracking responses, and measuring outcomes.
  • Create partner registration forms for SEO events using tools such as Monday.com and Google Docs.
  • Manage and update the SEO partner portal.
  • Create, distribute, and track contribution invoices and contribution acknowledgement letters for partners and/or Sponsors.
  • Attend program and partner in-person events outside of business hours as needed. Some programs may require air or train travel 1-3 times per year.

Program Operations & Management

  • Support Associate Director for the seamless execution of AICON, including sponsorship outreach, marketing, tracking, invoices, data collection, reporting, speakers, and other conference-related tasks.
  • Facilitate the set-up of LP events, managing Zoom, Monday boards, attendance tracking, marketing, correspondence, and reporting.
  • Develop plans and workflows, manage the programming calendar, and track milestones.
  • Support event planning and execution in partnership with the AICON/LP team, including researching, sourcing, and coordinating with vendors and sponsors to secure venues, catering, and speakers; develop run-of-shows and communication plans for participants, partners, and vendors.
  • Coordinate with partners and internal operations teams to host webinars and educational events.
  • Provide timely responses to inquiries from attendees, partners, and sponsors, exercising sound judgment in resolving and escalating customer service issues.

Cross-Department Collaboration with Program Teams

  • Communicate partner hiring needs and role specs to program and recruiting teams, and ensure they stay updated on partner needs.
  • Coordinate with program teams to develop resume books for partner recruitment needs.
  • Track and follow up on partner event attendance with Program Managers.
  • Fill all partner requests to their satisfaction.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Liaise with the SEO Marketing & Communications team to create and distribute marketing materials, promotional content, and partner newsletters via social media, email, partner platforms, and other mediums.

Data & Analytics

  • Leverage Monday.com and other project management tools to track and organize program deliverables, partner factsheets, requisitions, engagement data, renewals, event planning, and hires.
  • Create goals and KPIs to evaluate processes and inform recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Track program and partner data; retain accountability for data accuracy and management.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting support to the Director, Associate Director, and other team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in service of SEO's Career & Alternative Investments team objectives and SEO's mission.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in client services, account management, partnerships, and/or program management, including experience as a point of contact in a client-facing role.
  • Direct experience in nonprofit or educational program management is a plus.
  • Event planning and coordination experience for large-scale conferences is a plus.
  • A background in or working knowledge of financial services, private equity, or corporate staffing is preferred.
