Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity 

With a strong current and future portfolio of projects we are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our diverse team in Auckland. This is a key role supporting project delivery and client service excellence, addressing a critical need for skilled design capability within our Maritime team. You will contribute to technically challenging and meaningful projects including coastal protection structures, port infrastructure and marine precinct developments. Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality design deliverables.

Mōu ake | About you 

You are a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Designer who enjoys bringing engineering concepts to life through high-quality design. You thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in producing accurate, practical and constructible solutions. 

We’re looking for someone with: 

• Proven experience as a Civil Designer with experience or an interest in port and coastal work 

• Around 4+ years’ experience or demonstrated capability aligned to mid-career level 

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, Revit exposure advantageous 

• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, supporting engineers and coordinating drawings/models across disciplines 

• Experience working in Common Data Environments (CDEs), setting up and coordinating multidisciplinary drawing sets that produce high quality engineering drawings that meet company and industry standards 

• Confidence to prioritise work and support or guide junior designers/drafters where required 

• A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to learn, grow and contribute to team success 

The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering/Design.
