About the role:
As a Contact Center Supervisor - Credit Report Disputes, your primary role will be leading and managing the end-to-end credit report dispute resolution operations. You will oversee a dedicated team focused on investigating, processing, and resolving credit reporting disputes efficiently and accurately. Your core responsibilities include training, mentoring, and directing representatives to optimize dispute workflow performance, maintain high-quality investigations, and minimize direct escalations. This role reports to the Department Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the credit report dispute resolution team, ensuring timely and compliant processing of all dispute cases
- Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and development to dispute specialists to maintain quality standards and dispute investigation accuracy
- Analyze dispute trends and root causes of processing errors, implementing process enhancements to prevent future credit reporting escalations
- Collaborate with operations, legal, and compliance partners to align dispute handling workflows with FCRA/Metro 2 guidelines and internal standards
- Monitor key performance indicators, dispute turnaround times, and quality assurance audits to drive team productivity and operational efficiency
Requirements:
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams within credit reporting dispute operations
- In-depth expertise in credit dispute resolution, FCRA regulations, Metro 2 format, and e-OSCAR system processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coach, train, and motivate employees and evaluate their performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of resolving complex credit reporting escalations
Compensation:
The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $51,000 to $57,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
