As an Oracle Fusion / OIC Developer, you will design, develop, deploy, and support Oracle Integration Cloud integrations, technical extensions, and enterprise reporting solutions, combining hands-on development with technical leadership across on-prem, SaaS and PaaS applications and establishing continuous delivery and integration.

Essential Functions

Integration Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Build inbound, outbound, real-time, scheduled, batch, event-driven, and API-based integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party / external applications.
• Utilize Oracle Fusion REST APIs, SOAP services, PVOs, FBDI, UCM, ESS Jobs, OIC adapters, and event-driven architectures.
• Design reusable, scalable integration frameworks following Oracle best practices and enterprise integration patterns, with API governance.
• Load data conversions through the FBDI process and write specifications for conversions, integrations, modifications, and reports.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, error handling, and autorecovery frameworks; optimize performance, scalability, and security.

Technical Extensions and Platform

• Develop Oracle Fusion technical extensions using Oracle PaaS services, OCI, Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS), and Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP).
• Administer and support different Oracle Cloud environments.

Reporting and Data

• Design and maintain Fusion reports using BI Publisher (incl. report bursting), OTBI, BICC, Oracle Fusion Analytics, and SQL.
• Develop BIP data models using PVOs and SQL; create XML templates; build dashboards, KPIs, operational reports, scheduling/distribution.
• Create and optimize SQL and PL/SQL against PVOs/VOs; ensure data accuracy and optimize report/query performance.

Security and Compliance

• Build secure integrations and APIs using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API Gateway.
• Collaborate with the Information Security Architect and IT Compliance team on data privacy and security for cloud environments.

Support, Testing and Leadership

• Provide L1/L2/L3 support; troubleshoot failures and coordinate resolutions with Oracle Support.
• Support Oracle quarterly updates by analyzing impacts, testing changes, and implementing enhancements.
• Develop unit test scripts and coordinate SIT/UAT with users and business analysts.
• Support production deployments, hypercare, and ongoing production support.
• Lead technical design sessions, perform code reviews, estimate effort, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on Git-based source control and CI/CD processes.
• Produce technical design, deployment guides, and operational documentation.

Education, Background and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years supporting Oracle Fusion integrations/reports; 5+ years hands-on OIC; 5+ years Oracle ERP/Fusion technical development preferred.
• Experience delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation or upgrade projects across multiple enterprise projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative across functional borders.
• SDLC, requirement elicitation, documentation, test scripts; data management;
• Knowledge of Fusion Cloud modules.

Certifications

• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Certification - Preferred.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification - Preferred; other Fusion certifications preferred.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• VB Studio, OAC, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Oracle Process Automation, Integration Insight, Python, event-driven/microservices, Oracle SOA Suite.
