About the role - Business Performance Manager at Laser

We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Business Performance Manager to join our Laser team. This role works closely with a portfolio of Members, providing practical insights, support and guidance to help them grow their businesses, improve performance and adapt to changing market conditions.

You'll build strong relationships with Members, suppliers and industry networks, using your business knowledge and market insights to identify opportunities, support business planning and influence continuous improvement. You'll also play an important role in supporting Members through key stages of their business journey, including onboarding, succession and exit planning.

This is a relationship-led role where your commercial acumen, business analysis skills and ability to influence will help Members achieve their goals while strengthening the Laser network.

Location: Auckland & regional with Support Office at 1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060

Hours: 40 hours per week between 07:00am – 07:00pm Monday to Friday.

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years’ experience in business performance, business management or a similar commercial role with 5+ years’ sales or business development experience.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in business planning and financial analysis.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships and influence positive outcomes.
• Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to understand business processes, identify opportunities and provide practical insights.
• Excellent Excel skills and strong proficiency across Microsoft Office, experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of marketing, business planning, trade operations and financial analysis.
• A current full and clean NZ driver's licence and the right to work in New Zealand.
