Business Ops Support

Position Purpose

The Business Operations Support role is responsible for providing financial, operational, administrative, and reporting support to the Service Delivery Business Unit. The incumbent serves as a critical link between Service Delivery Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Commercial functions to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, revenue assurance, and achievement of business objectives. 

The position contributes to improved business performance through financial analysis, cost control, operational reporting, performance monitoring, and support of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: 

Service Delivery Financial Management 

• Track service delivery costs, including labor, subcontractor, logistics, inventory, and operational expenses. 

• Ensure financial accuracy in reporting and billing processes. 

• Support contract financial reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives and revenue targets. 

• Assist in revenue assurance activities to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition. 

• Collaborate with internal teams to support Time & Materials (T&M) billing 

• Review service delivery performance against financial commitments and contractual obligations. 

Operational Support 

• Support daily business operations by monitoring operational performance and ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures. 

• Maintain operational efficiency across business processes 

• Assist in the coordination and execution of operational initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement activities. 

• Track service delivery performance, operational KPIs, and business objectives. 

• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and resource coordination activities where required. 

• Maintain operational documentation, process maps, and standard operating procedures. 

Reporting & Analytics 

• Prepare and distribute recurring operational reports, dashboards, and performance scorecards. 

• Prepare internal financial reports 

• Conduct financial and operational analysis to identify gaps and opportunities 

• Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gaps. 

• Utilize tools such as Oracle, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis 

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of operational data and reporting systems. 

• Assist in preparing presentations, business reviews, and executive summaries. 

Stakeholder Coordination 

• Act as a point of contact between internal departments and external stakeholders for financial and invoicing matters. 

• Support business reviews with internal and external stakeholders. 

• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions 

• Facilitate communication and follow-up actions related to financial and operational performance. 

• Facilitate communication and follow-up actions across cross-functional teams. 

• Support customer and vendor-related operational activities as assigned. 

Process Improvement & Compliance 

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. 

• Support implementation of process improvement initiatives and operational best practices. 

• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements. 

• Participate in internal audits, business reviews, and quality assurance activities. 
• Administrative Support 
  • Maintain operational records, databases, and tracking tools. 
  • Support procurement, invoicing, budget tracking, and expense management activities. 
  • Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and operational communications. 
  • Manage ad hoc requests and special projects assigned by management. 
• Key Skills:

  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, or operational management systems.

Qualifications:

Education (Minimum)

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business operations, operational support, project coordination, business analytics, or a related field.
