We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Systems business. This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on originating and winning complex capital projects while developing long-term commercial partnerships that generate recurring service and operational revenue.
The successful candidate will lead the full sales cycle for technically sophisticated solutions, including Fluidized Bed Reactor (FBR) technologies, Advanced Metal Removal Systems (AMRS), and regenerable ion exchange systems such as SimPACK and MinX. You will play a key role in positioning Envirogen as the preferred partner early in the customer planning process and demonstrating the long-term value of our engineered solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop Regional Growth Strategies
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial and municipal markets.
- Create and execute regional business development plans aligned to revenue and profitability targets.
- Build a strong pipeline of large capital project opportunities.
Build Long-Term Customer Relationships
- Develop trusted relationships with customers, consulting engineers, regulators, and industry partners.
- Create opportunities for multi-year engagements including capital sales with service contracts, DBOO, and DB&O arrangements.
- Establish Envirogen as a recognised specialist in complex engineered treatment solutions.
Lead Consultative Sales Engagements
- Conduct detailed discovery to understand customer challenges, technical requirements, commercial drivers, and compliance considerations.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to develop customised treatment solutions.
- Support projects from concept studies and pilot programmes through to full-scale implementation.
- Demonstrate lifecycle cost savings, return on investment, and total cost of ownership benefits to customers.
Own the Full Sales Cycle
- Generate and qualify opportunities through proactive business development activity.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
- Drive opportunities through to successful award and project handover.

Requirements
- Experience securing DBOO, DB&O, or capital-plus-service contracts.
- Strong understanding of lifecycle cost analysis, ROI modelling, and value-based selling.
- Experience within industrial sectors such as hydrocarbon processing, chemical manufacturing, power generation, or general manufacturing.
- Ability to conduct market analysis, identify opportunities, and develop strategic territory plans.
- High levels of emotional intelligence, customer focus, relationship-building capability, and commercial resilience.
