Your Role
As a Business Development Manager in our Defleeting team, you shape the future of FINN’s defleeting operations at a decisive point in the vehicle and subscription lifecycle. Sitting at the intersection of operational excellence and financial performance, you design scalable defleeting processes and manage key internal and external stakeholders. Your core objective is to ensure vehicles are defleeted fast and seamlessly, balancing damage impairment costs, customer revenue recovery, and a premium customer experience.
Your Mission
Design & Scale Defleeting Processes: Develop, standardize, and optimize end-to-end defleeting workflows to support FINN's rapid fleet growth and expand operations across our FINN Stations.
Balance Financial & Customer Metrics: Drive initiatives to optimize turnaround times and damage-related costs while balancing impairment expenses, customer revenue recovery, and overall customer satisfaction at subscription end.
Manage Strategic External Partnerships: Serve as the primary operational partner for key external stakeholders, including OEMs, appraisers, and compound hubs.
Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with internal teams—including Fleet, Customer Operations, Active Fleet, and Vehicle Logistics & Stations—to ensure seamless execution and process integration.
Drive Performance & Data Analytics: Establish operational metrics and leverage data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks, optimize cycle times, and continuously elevate defleeting performance.
Pioneer Process Innovation: Proactively identify automation and optimization opportunities within the defleeting lifecycle, translating observations into impactful, scalable solutions.
Your Profile
Must-have:
Academic Foundation: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology & Management, Economics, or a related field.
Relevant Experience: Proven track record in a high-performance environment, such as a fast-scaling startup, scale-up, VC fund, or top-tier strategy consulting firm.
Analytical & Hands-on Ownership: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, paired with a clear bias to action and structured, independent project management capabilities.
Language Proficiency: Excellent German skills (C1/C2 level) and fluent professional English skills.
Nice-to-have:
Automotive & Logistics Knowledge: Prior experience or strong interest in fleet management, vehicle logistics, remarketing, or automotive operations.
Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated success managing complex internal and external partner relationships in fast-paced operational environments.
