Walter is looking for a proactive and entrepreneurial Business Developer – Lightweight / PCD to strengthen our business in the lightweight and advanced machining markets. Specifically, for Czech and Slovakia markets.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, identifying emerging market trends, and creating value through innovative technology partnerships. You will work closely with sales teams, customers, research institutions, and industry experts to accelerate business growth in the lightweight and metallurgical sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and build long-term customer relationships.
• Identify market trends and growth opportunities in the lightweight and machining sectors.
• Drive sales initiatives in collaboration with regional sales teams.
• Develop strategic partnerships with customers, research centers, and universities.
• Support commercial negotiations and contribute to pricing and marketing activities.
• Provide guidance and technical support to sales teams.
• Monitor business performance through relevant KPIs and reports.
• Lead strategic customer and business development projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, product management, engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience in cutting tools, machining, aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, or metallurgical industries is considered a strong advantage.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong customer focus.
• Fluent in English.
