Shape how a global brand comes to life

Are you a hands-on designer who enjoys turning brand principles into clear, impactful visual experiences?

We are looking for a Brand & Communication Designer to join our international design team in Shanghai. In this role, you will work at the intersection of brand, packaging and visual design, creating solutions that are both visually compelling and production-ready.

You will have the opportunity to work on a globally recognized brand and a broad portfolio of lighting products, collaborating with designers, marketing, product management, engineering and external partners across China and international markets.

What you’ll do

• Create engaging, production-ready artwork for packaging, print and digital applications.
• Translate brand and visual design principles into clear, scalable packaging solutions across different product categories.
• Contribute to the evolution of packaging guidelines, templates, design systems and product tiering.
• Ensure consistency in typography, color, imagery, iconography, layout and visual hierarchy.
• Prepare accurate artwork files and ensure designs meet print, packaging and technical requirements.
• Review artwork throughout development and production to maintain a high level of quality.
• Manage multiple projects and design adaptations while balancing deadlines, priorities and attention to detail.
• Present and explain design concepts to internal and external stakeholders.

What you bring

• Degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related discipline.
• Strong graphic design skills and a refined eye for aesthetics, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Good understanding of typography, color theory, composition, layout and visual hierarchy.
• Experience in packaging design, brand identity or graphic design systems is highly valued.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; working knowledge of InDesign is a plus.
• Understanding of print production, including CMYK, spot colors and artwork preparation.
• Basic knowledge of packaging dielines and production constraints.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work across cultures and disciplines.
• Structured and organized approach to files, workload and project priorities.
• Proactive, flexible and solution-oriented mindset.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn, develop and take ownership.
