Role Overview
We are looking for a Boomi Integration Developer to join our Integrations & Data team within IT Enterprise Applications. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise integrations across our core platforms — including Salesforce (Kilimanjaro org), NetSuite, Snowflake, and third-party APIs — using Dell Boomi as our sole integration platform. You will work closely with business systems analysts, architects, and delivery teams to translate integration requirements into scalable, reliable Boomi solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy Boomi integration processes (AtomSphere) across cloud and on-premise systems
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, and third-party APIs
- Write and maintain Boomi maps, connectors, process routes, and decision logic
- Implement error handling, alerting, and retry mechanisms to ensure integration resilience
- Collaborate with business analysts to capture integration requirements and produce technical specifications
- Support API lifecycle management including design, versioning, documentation, and deprecation
- Perform code reviews and contribute to integration standards, patterns, and governance
- Monitor integration health using Boomi's operational dashboards and proactively address failures
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) within the ITEA delivery model
- Support hypercare and BAU production environments, including incident triage and root cause analysis
- Contribute to documentation — architecture diagrams, runbooks, and change records
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 - 7 years of hands-on Boomi development experience in a production environment
- Proficiency with Boomi AtomSphere: Process building, maps, connectors, dynamic document properties, and flow control
- Experience integrating with Salesforce (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, SFTP)
- Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, EDI, and flat-file data formats
- Working knowledge of API security patterns: OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT
- Experience with error handling patterns, dead letter queues, and retry logic
- Familiarity with SQL and data transformation logic
- Ability to write and interpret technical integration specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills
- Boomi Professional Developer Certification or higher
- Experience with NetSuite SuiteScript or SuiteTalk API
- Exposure to Snowflake data platform and ELT pipelines
- Experience in automotive, SaaS, or DMS environments
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery practices and Jira-based project tracking
- Familiarity with Atlassian tooling (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience supporting Salesforce CPQ or subscription billing integrations
